FRENJICK QUESADA, PIID, CPA
A board topnotcher in interior design (ranked 7th) and accounting (ranked 2nd), Frenjick received his respective degrees from the Philippine School of Interior Design (PSID) and the University of the Philippines. Having a unique mix of interior design and business experience, he shares this through teaching at PSID and the interior design board review. Frenjick is the editor in chief of the official newsletter of our country’s professional interior design institute. Having worked at Sycip, Gorres and Velayo (SGV), UP College of Business as faculty, Procter and Gamble and apprenticing for Naomi “Shoko” Matsumoto, a world renowned theater lighting designer and interior lighting expert, his business and finance perspective has proven to be a welcome balance to the designs presented to clients.
HISAKO HIRAYAMA
Originally from Tokyo, Japan, Hisako received her degree in Interior Design from the Philippine School of Interior Design (PSID). Having worked in the field of theater & performing arts for many years in Tokyo prior to her move to the Philippines in 1997, her background in the arts has provided a natural transition to the world of design. Since co-founding Design HQ with Frenjick, she has designed both residential and commercial spaces in a variety of styles, both modern and eclectic.
DESIGN PHILOSOPHY Design HQ believes in listening to the client. While we design predominantly in the modern and eclectic styles, we recognize each client is unique in style preference and functionality requirement. The result of each project is truly a collaboration between Design HQ and the client. We continually strive for a fresh look with an eye for detail reflecting the individuality of the client.
